St. Patrick’s Day Cruise Tickets Available Now!

Tickets are now on sale for the 2012 Shoreline Sightseeing St. Patrick’s Day Cruises, set for March 17 on the green-for-the day Chicago River. These popular cruises include a traditional Irish buffet, cash bar, and a 90-minute tour of all three branches of the river.

Cruises are scheduled both before and after the Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Both cruises depart from our convenient docks in Gateway Park at Navy Pier (southwest corner). Boarding begins 15 minutes before the departure time. These cruises are on open-air boats, so please dress for the weather. The Dyeing of the Chicago River is at 10:45 a.m. and the Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade sets off at noon.

The menu features several Irish favorites, including Corned Beef and Cabbage and Bread Pudding. Toast the day with a Guinness, Heineken or Harpoon. Sip a Bloody Mary or warm up with a cup of Irish Coffee. A highlight of the cruise: a professional Shoreline docent will entertain you with the story of how the Irish shaped modern Chicago.

A Shoreline Sightseeing St. Patrick’s Day Cruise is one of the most popular things to do in Chicago on St. Patrick’s Day, so reserve a spot now! Tickets are $37 for adults, $35 for seniors and $20 for children 12 and under.
