OUR FLEET
Star of Chicago
Commissioned and built along the lines of Parisian “bateaux mouches”, Star of Chicago joined our fleet in 1999. Star of Chicago is used for Architecture cruises, Skyline Boat Tours and private charters on both the Chicago River and Lake Michigan.
Evening Star
Commissioned and built to Shoreline’s specifications (in 2001), Evening Star is adaptable for our Architecture Cruises, Skyline Boat Tours and private charters. Evening Star operates on both Chicago River and Lake Michigan.
Bright Star
Our largest vessel, Bright Star was commissioned and built for Shoreline in 2003. Like all our newer boats, Bright Star offers excellent sight lines for our Architecture Cruises and is also ideal for private charters on the Chicago River or Lake Michigan.
Voyageur
Our latest addition, Voyageur was custom outfitted for our Architecture Cruises and Skyline Boat Tours. Voyageur joined our fleet in 2006.
Celebration
Dedicated to private charters, Celebration boasts sleek, Euro-styling and a four-season main cabin plus a spacious outdoor deck. Celebration joined our fleet in 2005.
Cap Streeter
Named for George Wellington Streeter, one of early Chicago’s most flamboyant characters, Cap Streeter is designed along the lines of a Lake Michigan steamer. The “Cap” is used primarily for our Skyline Boat Tours and also for fireworks cruises and private charters.
Shoreline II
Shoreline II is a traditional lake touring boat devoted to our Skyline Boat Tours and our popular Fireworks Cruises on Wednesday and Saturday evenings and special holidays. Like all Shoreline vessels, it sports our well-known red, white and blue colors.
Marlyn
The Marlyn offers comfortable seating and great views of Chicago’s fantastic lakefront, making it ideal for our classic Skyline Boat Tours. It’s also great for our famous Fireworks Cruises which are offered Wednesday and Saturday evenings and on holidays and city festivals.
The Blue Dog
Our most intimate vessel, the Blue Dog is primarily used for our Skyline Boat Tours.
Water Taxis
Our fleet of red, white and blue water taxis is a fixture of summertime in Chicago! Our eight traditional water taxis have names that translate into: “Let’s Go!” including Andele,Andele!, Skeedaddle and Vamos.
Our New Water Taxi – Giddyup
Custom built to meet the growing water taxi demand and our new Michigan Avenue dock, GiddyUp will carry up to 80 passengers and will arrive in Chicago in summer 2007.
