SHORELINE SIGHTSEEING SPECIAL “LOOPTOPIA” ARCHITECTURE CRUISES
FROM SEARS TOWER DOCK FRIDAY MAY 2ND
Chicago, IL: Shoreline Sightseeing has scheduled special Architecture Cruises from their Sears Tower Water Taxi dock at Quincy Park along the Chicago River, 200 South Wacker Drive, as part of the “Looptopia” celebration. Tours will depart at 7:00, 8:30 and 10:00 pm. The one-hour tours will be led by professional, entertaining docents and passengers will receive Shoreline’s popular free map / guide to use during the tour and keep at a souvenir of their cruise. Tickets will be available online in advance or walk-up for the 7:00 and 8:30 pm. cruises and walk-up only for the 10:00 pm. cruise. $24.00 adults, $21.00 seniors over 65, $12 children under 12.
“ ‘Looptopia’ is a great idea – what could be better than an all-night party celebrating Chicago’s famous Loop and our city’s wonderful attractions, entertainment and cultural options,” said Shoreline owner Chip Collopy. “Even though we usually send off our Architecture Cruises from Navy Pier, we wanted to be part of the Looptopia event and our Sears Tower Water Taxi dock is a perfect location.”
Shoreline Sightseeing regularly scheduled Architecture Cruises and Skyline Boat Tours depart daily from Navy Pier. Now in its third generation of family ownership, Shoreline Sightseeing has been on Chicago’s waterways since 1939.
