With a private Shoreline Charter, dinner parties can be laid-back or lavish, casual or elegant. The Shoreline vessel you choose is yours alone for the duration of your event. Your guests can mingle, enjoy fabulous buffets or plated meal service at their tables – the choices are almost limitless. And of course, Chicago’s magnificent skyline provides a dramatic and dazzling backdrop for evening parties.
Choose a Mexican Fiesta theme…an Italian style buffet…or a more formal, three course dinner with a wide range of entrees including fillet mignon, sea bass or double lamb chops. For dessert, select from a variety of delectable treats including flourless chocolate cake with raspberry and kiwi sauce, fresh fruit tart with mango coulis or exotic berries with sabayon sauce.
After dinner, enjoy dancing to a live orchestra or have a DJ spin the type of music you and your friends most enjoy. Shoreline Charters can also assist with a variety of extra touches to make your evening memorable for your guests, including fresh flowers, photography and transportation to and from your party. Dinner Parties
Dinners on a private Shoreline Charter are the ulitmate way to entertain.
For up to 70 Guests
For the smaller dinner party, we suggest the four-season Celebration, with a climate-controlled main deck as well as an open bow and upper deck. Celebration has ample room for bar set ups and seating arrangements for either buffet or plated meal service complete with china and glassware. Make your dinner party selections from Shoreline’s wide range of bar packages and from Phil Stefani’s special Celebration catering menu. Space is also available for a DJ or live band.
For 50 to 250 Guests
For larger evening events, we suggest one of our “Star” vessels: Evening Star or Bright Star. They are spacious, open air boats with two decks and flexible space for bountiful buffets from our outstanding catering partners. Our “Star” vessels offer generous space for dancing to a band or a DJ. Shoreline can also arrange for a professional docent to lead one of our famous Architecture Tours as part of your evening cruise.
